Fast Friday has finally started in Indianapolis and already the 230 mph mark (nearly 371 km/h average over one lap) has been crossed by Ed Carpenter (Ed Carpenter – Chevrolet). The session has just been interrupted by the rain which returned to the American oval. Fast Friday precedes qualifying which will begin tomorrow.
