Franck Montagny's race at the Indianapolis Grand Prix has just ended on the 48th lap. The driver of the #12 Andretti Autosport DW26 was hit by the car of Martin Plowman in distress when braking for turn 7. The latter took off on the Frenchman's car. Both pilots are fine but the former resident F1 is forced to abandon. Ryan Hunter-Reay (Andretti) is currently leading the race with just over 30 laps to go.
