Ed Carpenter (Ed Carpenter Racing) won the Firestone 600 raced at the 1,4-mile Texas Motor Speedway. The driver of the #12 DW20 took advantage of a penalty imposed on Will Power (Team Penske) to take the advantage and win ahead of the pole sitter. Juan-Pablo Montoya (Team Penske) completes the podium in front simon pagenaud (Schmidt Peterson Motorsports) and Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing). Sebastian Bourdais (KVSH Racing) did not see the finish.
