The standing start of the Indianapolis Grand Prix gave rise to a spectacular accident involving several cars. Pole sitter Sebastian Saavedra (KV Racing) stalled and Mikhail Aleshin (Schmidt Peterson Motorsports) was unable to avoid the Colombian's DW12. Carlos Munoz (Andretti Autosport) is another collateral victim of this crash.
