Team Penske drivers achieved the best times in practice at the Long Beach GP (California). Will Power set the benchmark in 1’07”548, a handful of hundredths ahead of simon pagenaud, While Helio Castroneves followed at 3 tenths. Only Scott Dixon (Ganassi Racing) was able to rise to the level of the Penske drivers by beating Juan-Pablo Montoya. Sebastian Bourdais (KVSH Racing) achieved the 8th time.
