Ryan Briscoe (Team Penske) set the best time in the last free practice session in Baltimore with a time of 1'19"7635. The Australian is ahead by just one thousandth Mike conway (AJ Foyt Enterprises). Helio Castroneves (Team Penske) follows two tenths ahead of Takuma Sato (Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing) and Frenchman Sébastien Bourdais (Dragon Racing). Tony Kanaan (KV Racing Technology) follows in sixth position ahead simon pagenaud (Schmidt-Hamilton) and Ryan Hunter-Reay (Andretti Autosport). With Justin Wilson (Dale Coyne Racing) and Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing) completing the top ten, nine different teams placed themselves in the top ten in this session.
