Transported to hospital after his violent crash during the last free practice session in Fontana, California, Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Russian Mikhail Aleshin suffers a broken collarbone and ribs and chest trauma. His condition was considered serious but stable. Doctors at Loma Linda University Medical Center announced that the Russian pilot's condition is now stable. He will remain hospitalized while he recovers.
