If we do not yet know the complete schedule for the next campaign of IndyCar Series, the organizers of the Grand Prix of St Petersburg in Florida announced that the 2016 event would be held from March 11 to 13, two weeks earlier than the 2015 edition, won by the current leader of the championship, the Colombian Juan- Pablo Montoya (Team Penske – Chevrolet).
St Petersburg opened the season this year, following the organizers' withdrawal from Brasilia in Brazil, which was to be held on March 8.
