Dario Franchitti will start on pole for the raceIndycar from Toronto. The Scot was fastest in qualifying, ahead of Will Power, Graham Rahal, Justin Wilson and Alex Tagliani. Second in the Indycar championship standings, Franchitti has the opportunity to take the lead from his most dangerous rivals (Dixon 8th, Castroneves 10th, Briscoe 11th) launching from afar.
