« It goes without saying that the events of the last 48 hours have been hard to take. We were shocked to learn that we would not be in the No. 5 car for the 2020 season. Obviously this is coming late, but my team is working hard to try and salvage a full campaign in IndyCar.
The support from the motorsport community has been overwhelming and greatly appreciated. We drive thanks to the fans and their passion is great.
Apart from this disappointment, I still have health, an incredible family, friends and fans who support me.
