According to American media, Sebastian Bourdais would be replaced by James Davison for the 101st edition of Indy 500. Dale Coyne Racing should make the news official during the day.
James Davison finished runner-up in Indy Lights in 2009 and has two appearances in the Indy 500 with his best result being 16th place in 2015 with Dale Coyne Racing.
Sébastien Bourdais underwent surgery last night following his accident in qualifying where he suffered several fractures to his pelvis and hip.
