Marco Andretti won his second victory in IndyCar on the Iowa oval. The Andretti Autosport driver managed to get the better of Tony Kanaan (KV Racing Technology-Lotus) and Scott Dixon (Target Chip Ganassi Racing).
Dario Franchitti (Target Chip Ganassi Racing) finished in fifth place behind JR Hildebrand (Panther Racing). The Scot takes control of the Championship after his rival Will Power (Team Penske) retired by hitting the wall.
