Sixth in the championship last year, Aaron Telitz intends to challenge for the title this year in Indy Lights, the antechamber of theIndyCar Series. This afternoon, the 26-year-old American took pole position for the first race of the opening round, in St Petersburg (Florida).
The 26-year-old American, who defends the interests of Belardi Auto Racing, was respectively 0 and 1 ahead of two of his main rivals for the title, namely Pat O'Ward (Andretti Autosport) and Colton Herta ( Andretti Steinbrenner Racing). 0 runner-up, Santiago Urrutia (Belardi Auto Racing) is fourth.
The second qualifying session is scheduled for tomorrow at 14:30 p.m. French time. The start of the first race will be given at 19:05 p.m. French time.
