Fifth on the starting grid, Jean-Karl Vernay finished fourth in the Chicagoland 100 event in Indy Lights. A more than honorable performance when we know that the French driver is only in his third event on an oval.
If the Frenchman retains the reins of the championship, his closest pursuer James Hinchcliffe, winner yesterday, takes back a few points from him.
Next round next week at Kentucky speedway.
