For his second year of contract with Carlin in IndyCar, Charlie Kimball switches to a partial program in 2019. The 33-year-old driver, 17th in the last two campaigns, will participate in the season opener in Saint-Petersburg (March 10), the Indianapolis 500 (May 26), the Texas 600 (June 8), and the Pocono 500 (August 18 and at the last round at Laguna Seca on September 22.

Charlie Kimball will have Max Chilton as his teammate for these five rounds.
