Sharp's 500 Miles

Scott Sharp will compete in the Indianapolis 500 with Panther Racing. The 41-year-old American, winner last weekend of the St Petersburg round in the ALMS, will make his return to IndyCar, a discipline in which he played from 1994 to 2007.

Poleman at Indy in 2001, Sharp's ambitions are high. Absent from the discipline since 2007, he will nevertheless have to catch up with the bandwagon and get used to driving these single-seaters again.
