Accident in qualifying at Pocono in Pennsylvania and taken to hospital to treat injuries to his left hip and knee, Ryan Hunter-Reay (Andretti Autosport – Honda) was able to leave the treatment facility, but had not yet received the medical green light for sa pilot car this Sunday on the Pocono oval, after an impact of 138 G.

After being examined by the doctor IndyCar Series, Dr Geoffrey Billows, Hunter-Reay has been declared fit to run, and will therefore hold his place this evening for the event on the Tricky Triangle.
