Latest MP Motorsport driver for 2025 season known

The identity of the third and final driver of the MP Motorsport team for the 2025 season of F1 Academy is now known. It is Joanne Ciconte, aged 16.

Ciconte started on karting at the age of nine, competing in regional and national championships in Australia, with successes including winning the 2023 Australian Pink Plate Karting Championship. From there, she was selected as one of four finalists in the senior category for the FIA ​​Girls on Track – Rising Stars programme that same year.

Passing in car In 2024, Ciconte scored points in Australian F4 before continuing his development in Europe, competing in the Brno (Czech Republic) round of the Central European F4 Zone Championship. An appearance in two rounds of the Spanish F4 Championship followed, as well as in the Formula Winter Series last month.

Ciconte will drive with a livery representing the colours of the F1 Academy. At MP Motorsport, she will have as teammates the Danish Alba Larsen and the Dutch Maya Weug. The F1 Academy season will start from 21 to 23 March in Shanghai (China).
