Power outages affected several cars at random during Free Practice for the Formula 2 this Friday in Australia, compromising their performance.
A solution was implemented before qualifying, but the problem is only partially resolved.
In collaboration with the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the teams, Formula 2 is working hard to understand the origin of the problem and find a comprehensive solution.
To this end, a fifteen-minute shakedown has been added to this Saturday's schedule at 10:25 local time (00:25 French time), in order to test this solution before the Sprint race.
Leonardo Fornaroli (Invicta) will start from pole position in this Sprint race.
