IndyCar Race Director appointed to FIA
THEIndyCar no longer lives in a vacuum. In a sign of the opening of the North American single-seater championship, Race Director Kyle Novak has been named among the 36 judges to sit on the International Tribunal and the International Court of Appeal of the International Automobile Federation (FIA). .
Kyle Novak is the only IndyCar representative among the FIA judges. “It’s a huge honor, Novak said. With the competition and all the growth we've had over the last few years, I think it shows the level of global respect for IndyCar. »
In addition to this arrival, IndyCar President Jay Frye, Medical Director Dr Geoffrey Billows and Track Inspector Tony Cotman appear on the FIA committees, respectively the Single-seater, Safety and Track Inspection commissions.
