ART Grand Prix is the first team to formalize the name of a driver for the upcoming F1 Academy campaign, and it is Léna Bühler. The 25-year-old Swiss began her career with BMX, where she competed in European competitions, but turned to karting afterwards. After a season of F4 Spain where she finished 15th, she entered Formula Regional for 2021 and 2022… but her last campaign with R-ace GP ended prematurely, due to lack of funding.

The young woman can therefore bounce back in this 100% female championship and FRECA antechamber in this inaugural season. “ It is with great pleasure that I am preparing to discover the championship of F1 Academy for its first edition, declares the young woman. Even more so with ART Grand Prix, a team with a fantastic track record. It will be a real challenge for me and for the team, since we will have to learn everything about these new cars. I can't wait to master them. » And to continue: “ This will only be my fourth year in motorsport and I still have a lot to learn, but I am already giving 100% both mentally and physically to honor the trust that ART has placed in me, as have my partners without whom nothing would be possible. »

« We are happy to welcome Léna to our team, adds Sébastien Philippe, director of the French team. She is the first of 15 drivers to write her name in the history of the F1 Academy. This aligns perfectly with the ART Grand Prix philosophy of helping young drivers climb the promotional ladder to reach the highest level of motorsport. The team will do everything possible on a sporting, human and technical level to face this historic challenge with Léna. »

Alongside ART Grand Prix, four different teams will be entered in this brand new championship: Campos Racing, Rodin Carlin, MP Motorsport and PREMA Racing.
