Lessay hosts the Final of the French Slalom Cup

Final of the French Slalom Cup - September 17-18, 2022 - Lessay

Appointed last March following the FFSA call for tenders to host the grand final of the Slaloms, the ASA Bocage and the Ligue du Sport Automobile de Normandie have not been idle for 6 months. Everything is now in place, including almost summer weather, to make this great first in Normandy a success.

Final of the French Slalom Cup – September 17-18, 2022 – Lessay

The motor sports center of Lessay (Channel 50) was dressed in its best attire to welcome the 123 competitors, out of 162 qualified, who validated their participation at the end of this 2021-2022 season. The paddock will take place on the track Rallycross while the track karting was fitted out to accommodate the competition. The Spectators Village will host all the Leagues.

Xavier Lemarchand will of course be present to put his title back on the line but has swapped his Tatuus FR2000 for a Dallara F302-304. He will have to respond on the track to the 2019 winner Christophe Rose who is determined to recover his trophy!

Slalom is certainly the simplest and easiest to access motorsport discipline. Open to all licensees, to all possible and imaginable cars (including production vehicles) and scheduled for a single day, the slaloms take place throughout mainland France and its overseas territories.
