Present among the four finalists, we have long hoped that the Frenchwoman Dorian Pin wins the FIA Girls on Track operation, co-organized by the Ferrari Driver Academy and the FIA Women in Motorsport commission. But it was ultimately the 17-year-old Belgian-Dutch Maya Weug who was named the winner, after six detection courses and a grand final contested over four days at Maranello.
The latter becomes the first woman to join the Ferrari Driver Academy and will drive in an FIA certified Formula 4 championship in 2021. Brazilians Julia Ayoub and Antonella Bassani were the other two finalists in the operation.
