McLaren names new reserve player

McLaren is strengthening internally. For this 2024/2025 season of Formula E, the English team has decided to call upon one of the drivers from its training program for the role of reservist.

Alex Dunne, a member of the academy since 2024, will take on this role for the entire Formula E campaign, starting with the Mexico E-Prix this weekend. Regarding his full sports program, Alex Dunne is not yet completely decided. Fourteenth in the 2024 season of Formula 3 With MP Motorsport making his debut, the Irishman is aiming for promotion to Formula 2 with Rodin Motorsport as we explained to you last October even though McLaren wanted him to repeat at the time.
