In Formula Renault 3.5 Series, Miguel Molina was the fastest in the first collective tests, at home in Barcelona. The Catalans are in good shape since Molina precedes another Barcelonan, in the person of Jaime Alguersuari. Charles Pic is 6th.
Albert Costa finished the first Eurocup Formula Renault session in first place, while Mike Verschuur took the lead in the Mégane Trophy session under the checkered flag.
Collective testing continues this afternoon. Qualifying practice and the first races of the season will take place tomorrow, Saturday.
