- Alexandre Munoz kicks off the French F4 season. The Ariège native won the first race of the season, held this Saturday during the Easter Cups at Nogaro. The 15-year-old driver—turning 16 on May 4th—managed to get the better of polesitter Andy Consani midway through the race, between two safety cars, during a race neutralized four times by the Safety Car. Starting from second place, Alexandre Munoz showed better pace than his rival and won without a hitch, despite the multiple race interruptions.
- Very comfortable in the rain on Saturday during qualifying, Andy Consani struggled a little more on a dry track. The academy's new protégé Mercedes was unable to maintain his pole position advantage and lost to Alexandre Munoz and also to Rafael Perard, who overtook him late in the race. The Aix-en-Provence native still managed to salvage a podium finish just ahead of Arthur Dorison.
- The race was disrupted by several collisions and, consequently, several appearances of the safety car. In total, during the 30-minute race, the Safety Car appeared four times, notably on the first lap after a collision between Hugo Herrouin and Paul Roques and in the final minutes of the race after contact between Iron Dames' protégé, Lisa Billard, and Japanese driver Rintaro Sato, supported by Honda, who had started third on the grid. Both drivers did not see the checkered flag.
