Romanian pilot Robert Visoiu will make his return to the antechamber of the F1 with the Campos Racing team. He is the third driver after Stefano Coletti and Roberto Merhi to occupy the second seat of the Spanish team alongside the other holder Ralph Boschung. Campos Racing should not change duo again until the end of the season.
Robert Visoiu had already taken part in the GP2 championship in 2015 with Rapax and had achieved a 5th place as his best result. He had to end his season after the Sochi round and had not returned to motorsport since.
