It didn't take long for the sentence to come down. Roy Nissany was penalized after his accident in the Main Race at Silverstone. The DAMS driver aggressively closed the door on Dennis Hauger who, after passing through the grass, hit the halo of the 27-year-old driver. More fear than harm in the end, but the halo definitely helped avoid a catastrophe. The stewards still decided to impose 5 penalty places on the next starting grid on Roy Nissany as well as 3 penalty points. This brings his total to 6 units this season.

« The stewards determined that car 16 left the track at turn 15 after making an error. The driver rejoined the track exiting the corner and instead of focusing on safely entering traffic, made an unpredictable and dangerous maneuver to defend his position, which caused contact with car 1 (Dennis Hauger ). Car 16 (Roy Nissany) was entirely responsible for the collision and accepted responsibility for the incident », Explain the commissioners in the report.
