This is a major reinforcement for the No. 23 Chevrolet of Dreyer & Reinbold Racing. Participating in only one round this year and not the least since it is the Indy 500 (May 28), the Carmel (Indiana) team has decided to call on a champion IndyCar but also winner of the event: Ryan Hunter-Reay.

Without a full program in 2023 after the end of his 10-season adventure last year with Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay decided to take up the challenge. “ This collaboration with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing represents a unique opportunity for me, recognizes the Texan. I can’t wait to get back on the track in Indianapolis. I feel focused and full of energy. The Indy 500 is not just a car race. For me, it's a way of life. »

On the second Chevrolet (No. 24), Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, which operates the car with the support of Cusick Motorsports, will be able to count on Stefan Wilson. For the Briton, it will be his 6e race in IndyCar for a 5e departure to Indianapolis.
