British, Brazilian, Saudi, Czech, Mexican, Spanish, and Italian F4, to name just a few, the manufacturer Tatuus continues to produce chassis for all these championships year after year. Since 2021, they have been producing these single-seaters, the Gen2 versions of the F4 cars from these different countries. This year, they recently reached the milestone of 500 T-421 models. An event celebrated by the Lainate-based company alongside its various partners.
"The 500th T-421 represents not only a major milestone for Tatuus, but also a significant achievement for the entire international motorsport ecosystem," said Giovanni Delfino, CEO of Tatuus and Korus Group. “With the introduction of Formula 4 in 2014, the FIA created a new gateway between the karting and single-seaters, allowing drivers to be better prepared for higher categories. This model has become established thanks to years of strong growth in motorsport, during which numerous championships were launched and developed, reaching starting grids of nearly 50 cars per race with the second generation we are celebrating today. Figures difficult to imagine at the beginning of this adventure, but which now constitute the daily reality for many companies in the Korus Group.”

A few years after the launch of the first generation of F4 cars by Tatuus, the T-014 produced in around 300 units, the success of this version suggests even better things to come with the arrival of the Gen3, planned by the FIA for 2028. Although Tatuus does not have exclusivity on F4 cars worldwide – Ligier notably producing the one for the French championship and the F4 World Cup in Macau – it is worth noting that not so long ago, a certain Kimi Antonelli began his career in this famous T-421, which is just waiting to welcome new champions.
