Daniel Ricciardo, slightly injured in a bicycle accident, will not be able to participate in the Formula tests Renault 3.5 Series, which takes place this weekend in Jerez. The 2009 champion of F3 UK will be replaced by Julien Jousse, who will help Tech 1 Racing in the development of its car. Ricciardo will regain his place in the Toulouse team at the end of these tests.
Second driver of the Tech 1 Racing team, Brendon Hartley is retained by Red Bull Racing in Bahrain and will not participate in the first day of testing. Once released by the team Formula 1- if he is not called upon to replace one of the two starting drivers - Hartley will go to Jerez on Sunday for the second day of testing.
