If Dale Coyne Racing has not yet confirmed Sébastien's replacement Bourdais this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, the No. 12 DW18-Honda should likely be driven by Tristan Vautier.
Esteban Gutiérrez was to replace the four-time Champ Car champion for the following events, while the Frenchman recovers, but the former Haas driver F1 Team was unable to train on oval and did not receive authorization to compete in an oval event.
Tristan Vautier has already competed in several races in IndyCar with Dale Coyne Racing but has not raced in the American single-seater discipline since 2015.
