The halo has once again proven its usefulness in Formula 2. In the main race, Roy Nissany pushed Dennis Hauger onto the grass in the final sector at Silverstone. While the two drivers were dueling, the 27-year-old driver came aggressively to close the door. The Norwegian tried to brake, but his car was too damaged to stop. After taking off on a vibrator, the Prema pilot violently collided with the DAMS pilot.
The extremely spectacular crash between Dennis Hauger and Roy Nissany 😳
Both drivers got out of their car under their own power, thanks to the halo 🙏#F2 #BritishGP | ▶️ https://t.co/t7uFs3yVeh pic.twitter.com/XzZkHk5xOL

Fortunately, the halo managed to absorb the shock. The two young drivers managed to escape their cars unscathed even though the impact could have been much more serious. Roy Nissany's aggressive and dangerous maneuver could earn him a sanction for the next round of the calendar in Austria (July 8-10). For his part, Dennis Hauger leaves this race weekend at Silverstone empty-handed after his 15th place in the sprint race.
