Already leading the free practice session, Jamie Chadwick did it again during qualifying. The 23-year-old Briton took pole position at Spa-Francorchamps ahead of her championship runner-up Alice Powell. The championship leader still relegates her compatriot to 8 tenths. The top 3 is completed by Nerea Marti.
The session was especially marked by a big accident in the Eau Rouge corner involving 6 cars. Fear and dark memories initially took precedence over the entire paddock. The W Series has announced that it will communicate soon to give more details on the state of health of the drivers involved, even if the latest news is rather reassuring.
