The W Series championship announced on Tuesday the withdrawal of Tereza Babickova (Puma W Series Team) for the seventh race of the 2022 season, in Singapore (September 30 to October 2). The Czech injured her spine during the last Formula round Alpine (FRECA) on September 10 at Red Bull Ring, in Spielberg (Austria).

Tereza Babickova has returned to her native Czech Republic where she is receiving medical treatment. Doctors have ruled her out of all running activities until further notice. In addition to the W Series race at the Marina Bay Street circuit, the 19-year-old will also miss the Formula 3 test at Magny-Cours in which she was to participate on September 16 and 17. Another W Series driver, Nerea Marti (Quantfury W Series Team) will replace the Czech on the Nivernais circuit.

W Series race director Dave Ryan wished the Czech driver a speedy recovery. »
