The humidity of the night and a light shower disrupted the morning session of this second day of FR 3.5 testing in Catalonia. The precarious grip conditions led Charles Pic, yesterday?s best performer, to make a mistake on his entry lap on the track. With on the car from Tech 1 Racing fairly significant damage (mainly two left half-wheels) to prevent the Frenchman from getting back behind the wheel before the 13 p.m. break. The drying of the track in the last hour allowed some to put on new tires. And James Walker took the lead again with 1, beating his time from the day before but without matching that of Pic. The interruption of the session caused by Martinez at 32 p.m. at the end fixed the hierarchy, the P428 Motorsport driver ahead of the Malaysian Fairuz Fauzy (Fortec – 15), the two Epsilon Euskadi drivers, the Spaniard Adrián Vallés (1) and the New Zealander Chris Van der Drift (1:33:053), Russian Anton Nebylitskiy (Comtec) in 1th.
