This first day of pre-season testing MotoGP Sepang was a real massacre. Several riders started the crash counter in the morning, not without consequences. After the withdrawals of Jorge Martin and Raul Fernandez, due to multiple fractures to the hand and foot, Fabio Di Giannantonnio had to give up the rest of the hostilities.
The Italian VR46 rider suffered a big crash at Turn 5 and fractured his left collarbone. As communicated by his team, shortly after the end of the day in Malaysia, Di Giannantonio will return to Italy this evening, in order to undergo surgery with a view to a rapid return.
This is an unfortunate incident for the player who had already missed the pre-season in Barcelona last November. As a reminder, he had given up participating in the last two rounds of the season to undergo shoulder surgery.
