The World Championship MotoGP is preparing to write a new page in its rich history in July by traveling to Kazakhstan for the first time for the ninth round of the 2023 championship. This is the 30th country visited by the World Championship since its creation in 1949 and of the 74th site to host a Grand Prix.

Located in Central Asia, Kazakhstan is the ninth largest country in the world. The Sokol International Circuit is located just 76 kilometers from the ancient capital Almaty. Designed by RacingLoop and the famous Hermann Tilke, the architect of many tracks appearing on the MotoGP and Formula 1, this 4,5 km long circuit has 12 turns, including 8 on the right and 4 on the left. Construction of the site began in 2014.

The Championship will begin on March 26 in Portugal at the Algarve Autodrome and end on November 26 in Spain at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia. At the end of the 21 rounds in the Program, we will know who succeeds Pecco Bagnaia on the list of winners.
