The partnership between Monster Energy and Aprilia Racing will be officially announced at the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello. The title sponsorship agreement will run until the end of 2026, with a shared desire to extend it beyond that date.
This arrival inevitably changes the interpretation of Aprilia's future lineup. Already a Monster ambassador, Marco Bezzecchi appears to be the natural linchpin of the project. On the other hand, the situation becomes more delicate for Jorge Martín, historically linked to Red BullHis case is reminiscent of Marc Márquez's when he joined Ducati. The Spaniard had to abandon his personal partnership with Red Bull in favor of the Monster environment of the factory team.
Martín has recently been showering Aprilia with affection. A way to make people forget the disagreements of 2025… and a sensible reaction to the positive momentum of the Noale machines! A romance is always sweeter under a bright sun. But if Monster joins Aprilia, it would certainly be to the detriment of Yamaha, which until now has been supported by the energy drink brand.
And Martin is regularly rumored to be leaving for Yamaha Factory Racing in 2027, in a vast game of musical chairs on several levels. Monster's arrival at Aprilia therefore reinforces the idea of an all-Italian Bezzecchi-Bagnaia duo in the medium term, as coherent from a sporting perspective as it is commercially. But a can of soda doesn't dictate the transfer market… at least not entirely.
