At the start of the 2025 season, injuries have unfortunately become one of the arbiters of the World Championship. In addition to Jorge Martin, who suffered two major injuries before the start of the season, and upon his return to the track, many other riders have already had to withdraw at such an early stage of the season.

This weekend, for example, Somkiat Chantra, a Thai rider on the Honda team, will not be able to compete after undergoing surgery earlier. However, three of them received confirmation that their participation was possible this Thursday.

Morbidelli returns after Jerez, more good news at Le Mans

VR46 driver Franco Morbidelli was forced to retire after a crash at the Jerez Grand Prix. Suffering from a neck contusion, the Italian did not take part in the Monday tests immediately after the race. He will be back at Le Mans after a few days of rest.

In addition to Morbidelli's return, Pedro Acosta and Miguel Oliveira will also be present despite the uncertainties. The former, who underwent surgery before the French Grand Prix due to compartment syndrome, a common muscular problem in MotoGP, however, underwent the same protocol as Chantra, who withdrew from the event. Oliveira, for his part, already seemed well on his way to getting back on his Pramac bike. After missing the last three events, the Portuguese will be back after his injury sustained during the Argentine GP.
