The reigning Moto3 champion is one of the main attractions of the Moto2 season. Considered one of the most promising prospects, he notably won his first race in the category during the Italian Grand Prix on May 29. Currently 8th in the Moto2 championship with 75 points, he remains in 2nd place during the last event, at the Sachsenring.
Pedro Acosta will therefore not participate in the next Grand Prix, in Assen (June 24-26). He could return for the British Grand Prix in early August, after the summer break.
