This week, for the sixth round of the season, the MotoGP has set up camp at the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans. As every year, at this time of year, the weather in Sarthe is often unstable. And that should be the case again this time.
First of all, Friday, May 9, sunshine and fairly mild temperatures, between 15 and 20 degrees, are currently forecast. However, gusts of wind reaching up to 40 km/h, according to Météo France, could hamper the drivers during the test sessions.
Saturday's skies will be just as sunny, and the temperatures will be just as mild. Once again, gusts of wind could disrupt the qualifying and sprint races.
Finally, it was on Sunday, May 11th that things got worse. For the moment, Météo France is predicting showers throughout the day, including during the main race. Thunderstorms are also possible. If this scenario were to materialize, we could see a Grand Prix full of twists and turns.
