Here’s Aleix Espargaró again! After Jerez, his national GP (17th), the Catalan driver will start a second race in this 2025 MotoGP season. It will be in Great Britain, for the seventh round. And still riding a Honda HRC Test Team.

As a reminder, Espargaró, who announced his retirement at the end of last season, had already won at Silverstone. That was in 2023, riding an Aprilia. This means that for the third consecutive Grand Prix, a Honda HRC test rider will be on track. At the French GP at Le Mans last weekend, Japanese rider Takaaki Nakagami started the race (6th).

Precisely, in Sarthe, Honda won its first victory in MotoGP since 2023 thanks to the XXL performance of Johann Zarco (LCR Honda Castrol). This success demonstrates the considerable progress made by the Japanese manufacturer in the development of its RC213V.

So, the work will continue for all Team HRC drivers in Great Britain, but especially in Aleix Espargaró's garage, on a circuit very different from Jerez and Le Mans.
