Yamaha set to embark on new MotoGP adventure - Michelin

On this January 31st, there is not only the return of MotoGP on track to celebrate. While test riders from each brand, as well as rookies and D-tier factory representatives, took to the track again at Sepang as part of the 2025 season Shakedown, Yamaha also has some surprises in store for us.

Like KTM yesterday morning, the Iwata factory will present its new colours accompanied by its new satellite team, Pramac Racing. The meeting is therefore one of the most anticipated of the year, and will start at 12:30.

Under the agreement made public in mid-summer, the former team of reigning world champion Jorge Martin will double Yamaha's workforce, which until then had only two machines on the grid.

If the official team of the brand, will keep the same duo of pilots, composed of fabio quartararo, and Alex Rins, Pramac Racing will be armed with two new faces.

Jack Miller, former factory rider at KTM, will be teamed up with Miguel Oliveira, who is looking for a new challenge after being sidelined from the Trakhouse Racing project in MotoGP.

The year 2025 promises to be rich in challenges for Yamaha, which hopes to continue to evolve after the measured return to form it showed at the end of last year. Two new machines on the grid will also mean twice as much data to store, and translate into improvements, in their quest to regain success in MotoGP. An adventure that will begin shortly.
