First on the starting grid, fabio quartararo was not the rider who had the best start when the lights went out. Ahead of him, Marc Marquez had actually made the best start ahead of the Frenchman. However, despite this great run from the Spaniard, the Yamaha rider managed to find the resources to open up an unexpected gap on the Ducati in the Dunlop chicane.
By cutting back to the inside, Fabio Quartararo surprised his opponent, managing to create a gap of almost a second in less than a lap of the Bugatti circuit. Despite his many efforts and a long race, the Frenchman was ultimately unable to compete with the speed of the Marquez brothers.
Lights out, let's go for the sprint race! 💥

On the first lap, Fabio Quartararo's superb start wasn't the only notable incident. Francesco Bagnaia, far from enjoying the same pace as the leading riders, unfortunately crashed at the start of the second lap. Lacking competitiveness in qualifying, the Italian made his first major race error of the season.
