Germany-SS12: Mikkelsen doesn’t give up

Andreas Mikkelsen (Citroën) set a new scratch time at the end of SS12 Rally from Germany. The Norwegian dominated the 12,28 km Römerstrasse sector in 6'13″9, one second ahead of Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) and 1″6 in front Sébastien Ogier (Ford).

In the general classification, Ott Tänak (Ford), sixth in the SS 2″7 behind Mikkelsen, is in the lead at midday with 23″ ahead of Mikkelsen and 29″9 over Ogier. Elfyn Evans (Ford) remains fourth at 1'16″3, but sees Juho Hänninen (Toyota) return to eight tenths.

Craig Breen (Citroën), Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) and Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) follow in the standings.
