Antibes Rally – SS1: Camilli sets the tone!

At home, Eric Camilli (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by Minerva Oil) set the best time in this first special with an average of 118,8 km/h over the 9,84 km from Gourdon. The stage local is ahead of Nicolas Ciamin (Alpine A110), went on the attack from this first time. Ciamin is followed like his shadow by Julien Saunier (Alpine A110-Sébastien Loeb Racing Bardahl) which enters the provisional Top 3.

Quentin Giordano (Polo GTi R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) points to  6,6 seconds from Camilli. Leader of the French Championship, Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) set the fifth time, 8,3 seconds behind Camilli.

Cedric Robert (Alpine A110-Bonneton HDF) is still at ease with his R-GT with the sixth best time.

Fourth in the provisional classification of the French Championship, William Wagner (C3 Rally2-PH Sport by GT2i) is announced to have been arrested on the side of the road.
