- Perfect score for Kalle Rovanperä. The Finn receives a 10/10 so far on this Rally of the Canary Islands. Still undefeated in Gran Canaria, the double world champion once again took the scratch in SS10. Like this morning, the driver Toyota was initially behind Sébastien Ogier in the first kilometers of the special, before accelerating and beating his teammate in the second part of the course. Thanks to this 10th consecutive special victory, Kalle Rovanperä increases his lead to 38″1 ahead of the Frenchman.
- Elfyn Evans, for his part, seems to have given up the battle against Kalle Rovanperä and Sébastien Ogier. The Welshman only set the 6th fastest time on SS10, finishing even behind Adrien fourmaux, and sees his deficit go beyond a minute behind the Finn in the general classification. The championship leader is already thinking about the points for 3rd place overall and is making sure of it on this second loop of the day. Behind him, Sami Pajari and Takamoto Katsuta should not bother him for the podium.
- To Hyundai, out of the running since the start of the weekend, this afternoon is more like a full-scale test session. The three drivers are trying new settings on their i20 N Rally1, with varying degrees of success and enthusiasm. Adrien Fourmaux, 6th overall, is now 15 seconds behind Takamoto Katsuta for 0th place.
