Croatia – SS3: Evans surprises, Fourmaux at fault

We wondered if anyone would manage to beat Kalle Rovanperä at the start of the day at Rally from Croatia. It's done. So on the verge of achieving a nice hat-trick, the Finn saw Elfyn Evans, although absent during the first two specials, steal a 3rd scratch on Croatian soil.

With a time of 6’08, Elfyn Evans got the better of Kalle Rovanperä and relegated him to 2”6. However, this does not change the situation in the general ranking. The Finn remains in the lead and even gains 2 tenths on his runner-up Thierry Neuville which he is now ahead of by 11″8.

For the Tricolores, this start to the weekend is very complicated. Victim of three punctures in two stages, Pierre-Louis Loubet will not be able to finish the day. Adrien fourmaux should experience the same outcome because of his accident. The Northerner lost control of his Ford Puma shortly after the start of SS3 and ended his race in the garden of a neighboring house.
