Mārtiņš Sesks to compete in Rally Poland next week

After this week's Rally Sardinia, which he is competing with M-Sport in the WRC, Martins Sesks will take part in the ERC Rally Poland next week at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia Rally2.

Mārtiņš Sesks to compete in Rally Poland next week

Alongside its six-rally program in WRC with M-Sport This season, Mārtiņš Sesks has a few stints in the European Rally Championship (ERC). Thus, present this weekend in Sardinia in WRC at the wheel of a Ford Puma Rally1, the Latvian will continue the following week with the Rally from Poland, fourth round of the ERC season.

The Latvian driver, who already won the event in 2023 and has three victories in this championship, will be driving a Skoda Fabia Rally2, run by the MRF Tyres team. He will be joined by his regular co-driver and compatriot Renārs Francis. For this final gravel event of the 2025 season, the Latvians will be part of a contingent of 31 Rally2s – a record this season – for a total of 63 entries.

 

Sesks apprenticeship in Sardinia, big ambitions in Poland

“It’s great to be back in the ERC family and representing MRF Tyres again”, said Mārtiņš Sesks in a statement. “This team has supported me enormously over the years, I owe them a lot.”, admits the 25-year-old pilot.

In any case, he is already looking forward to it, ready to perform. “It’s time to get back together and give it our all in Poland, a rally I’ve always loved.”, he concludes. Before that, he will continue his apprenticeship in WRC on the sandy Italian roads that he will be riding for the first time.
